Methodology
Metrics are computed from operational tables over a trailing 90 days window — timestamps only; the calculation does not read message content. Raw data: /api/accuracy.
Two kinds of response, counted separately. A therapist who is full can send an automated decline that tells the client so immediately and points them back to the directory. That is a good outcome — far better than silence — but it is not a reply, and for the person who reached out it is not the same thing at all. So we publish the replies and the declines on their own lines as well as combined. A decline is not counted as a ghosted inquiry, because the client did hear back; the segment above shows exactly how often that happens.
Who gets asked about fees. The optional check-in behind the fee line goes only to clients whose therapist actually wrote back; someone who received an automated decline is never asked, because “did the listed fee match?” presupposes a conversation that never happened. Those answers are anonymous — the record carries no link back to the conversation — so the rule has to be applied when the question is sent, and each answer records that it was.
Small numbers are not published. A rate needs at least 3 observations behind it before it appears here; below that it shows a dash and the count so far. One answered inquiry is not a “100% response rate”, and we would rather show you nothing than a number that flatters us.
