Ghost listing
A ghost listing is a single directory entry for a therapist who can't actually be booked — the individual-listing version of a ghost network.
Why it matters
A ghost listing wastes the time of someone already struggling to find care: they reach out and get silence, or learn the provider is full or gone. The harm is concentrated at exactly the moment a person is trying to start therapy.
How Kairn addresses it
Kairn dates each provider's capacity report and pauses listings that are not re-confirmed on schedule. That report is not live calendar inventory or an appointment guarantee; the provider must confirm current capacity directly.
